The Institute of Multi-scale Ocean Dynamics has 6 staffs, including consists of one Professor (Dr. Xuhua Cheng), two Associate Professor (Drs. Meixiang Chen and Long Jiang), there Assistant Professors (Drs. Tao Feng, Guidi Zhou, Xiao Chen).
The Multi-Scale Ocean Dynamics work group studies oceanic multi-scale dynamics and interaction, including the whole spectrum of large-scale circulation, mesoscale eddies, oceanic fronts, and sub-mesoscale processes. We are also interested in the impact of multi-scale ocean dynamics on atmosphere and marine ecosystems. Our studies include ocean circulation, sea level change, mesoscale air-sea interaction and marine ecological dynamics.
